Sarah Stewart

After studying Digital Design and Animation, Sarah graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2007 with a BA(Hons) degree in Visual Communication where her practice centred around printmaking and bookbinding. Now an award winning printmaker, Sarah works from her home printmaking studio in Wigtown, SW Scotland where she creates fine art prints of vintage and found objects and applies her designs across a variety of textile and book forms.

Sarah exhibits her work through prominent galleries both nationally and internationally and is represented by Society of Scottish Artists, Visual Arts Scotland, House of Prints and Find A Maker, Craft Festival.

Besides her printmaking practice Sarah owns and manages Craigard Gallery and mentors both emerging and established artists and makers.
